Fire Rated Gun Safes

The Gun Safe Series by Hayman currently has two lines; The Everglades gun safe line and the Blueridge gun safe line.

The Everglades safe is made with a continuous sheet of 11 gauge steel. We are able to achieve a much stronger body because we bend and fold it into shape versus welding sheet metal. Our door contains a drill resistant hard plate and spring loaded re-lockers. The bolts in the door are 1-1/4” diameter on all 4 sides with active bolts top, bottom, and on the leading edge. Deadbolts lock the hinge side to give total protection. What else would you expect from Hayman Safes? In addition to outstanding burglar resistance, the Everglades Series Gun Safe offers 1 hour Certified Fire Protection. The body has 1” of fireboard in two layers and the door has three layers or 1-1/2” of protection. Our versatile interior allows for the storage of long guns on one side and shelf storage on the other or it can easily be changed so you can store long guns on both sides. The Blueridge safe is also made with a continuous sheet of 11 gauge steel. Then we add 1/4″ solid steel plate on the door with heavy-duty hinges to make it swing smoothly. Of course, the door has drill resistant hard plate and spring loaded re-lockers along with 1-1/2″ diameter bolts which lock the door on all 4 sides with active bolts top, bottom, and the leading edge. Deadbolts also lock the hinge side to give total protection.

All of this earns the BlueRidge the Residential Security Container rating from Underwriters Laboratory. (UL RSC). What else would you expect from Hayman?

In addition to outstanding burglar resistance, the Blueridge Gun Safe offers 90 minutes of Certified Fire Protection. The body and door have 1-1/2” of fireboard in three layers for protection.
